In an older tractor that did not have energy steering, I put in orbitrol by connecting it to the main raise pump, the pump fed oil to the P enter on the orbitrol and to the T output I related the elevate and external hydraulic valves. This resolution has been working for a few years and there aren't any problems with sealing on the orbitrol shaft.
