Bentley Mulsanne Key Celebrates Its Centenary

Bentley's bespoke coachbuilding division, Mulliner, has designed a unique key case to mark the centennial of the company. Made from Dark Stained Burr Walnut and Piano Black veneer, it includes a flying "B" paperweight, a set of keys and a brochure featuring never-before-seen 1930 8 Litre images.

In celebration of its Centenary, Bentley introduced a custom-designed specification called the Centenary Specification for cars built in 2019. Function

The Bentley Mulsanne Key features two buttons one of which opens the trunk, and the other that turns on the vehicle. The key also has a switch for turning on the parking brake. The knob can be used to fold or unfold the mirrors while parking in a tight space. Using this feature can aid you in getting in and out of the car more quickly.

The key is made from vegetable tanned leather. It takes about two days to craft each one. It is cut by hand shape, sewn, sealed and polished to create a high-quality finish. It is strong and compact, and will fit the Bentley key perfectly. Its design is reminiscent of the Volkswagen Phaeton's huge car key, however it feels heavier and more premium.

It also has Secure-A-Key, which helps prevent keyless entry theft. The device is placed inside the remote-control key fob and stops it after a couple of minutes of inactivity, which prevents thieves from transmitting the frequency of the key to other devices that can unlock and start the vehicle.
