Based on the popular A06 Freedom Chair, this model is heavy duty electric wheelchair-duty and designed to accommodate users who weigh up to 25 stone/160kg. The powerchair has twin 300 watt motors that can push you forward at speeds up to 4mph with the ability to travel up to 9 miles from just one battery (a second battery is also available).

It is lightweight, folding and compact when not in use, which means it's easy to move and store. It's perfect for those who travel on cruise ships, cars or plane with a chair as it easily fits into the cabin. It also comes with airline-approved lithium-ion batteries as well as an adaptor cable to charge off-board.

The powerchair can be Attendant Controlled Electric Wheelchair with a joystick mounted on either armrest. It can be used either left- or right-handed. The footplate is able to be opened to allow for easy transfers and the tyres feature 12" all-terrain rubber to tackle more challenging terrain.

A08L is a larger version of our best selling A06 electric wheelchairs lightweight wheelchair and comes with two major differences in terms of the size of the rear drive wheels and the power of the motors that drive them. This more powerful setup means that the powerchair is capable of supporting the maximum weight of 25 stone (160kg) and achieving a much greater top rated electric wheelchairs speed of 4mph (6.5 km/h). The PU tyres in this model are larger, making it more suitable for rocky terrains. The control system uses an electromagnetic brake that makes it easy to stop and slow down.

Apart from being a highly efficient chair, this model is very simple to fold and use. This means it is perfect for users who regularly travel with their electric wheelchairs as it can be folded down to its smallest size and then wheeled away using the back rest as handles. The anti-tip wheels make it easier to maneuver, and the powerchair fits easily in the boot or hold of a vehicle.

The powerchair can support a maximum weight of 25 stone when fully open. It has a seat which is 17" wide by 17" deep, for comfort and stability. There are a variety of interchangeable positioning and support options that can be customized to suit individual needs and all components are constructed of high-quality materials for long-lasting durability.

Like our other models this powerchair can be used both outdoors and inside and is joystick controlled for simple movement.
