1. iRobot Combo J7+

The Combo J7+ robot vacuum and mop is iRobot’s first. It takes the great iRobot j7 robotic vacuum and adds a small reservoir of water, a robot arm that can raise and lower mopping pads, as well as some new sensors. The result is a capable two-in-one cleaner that we've found superior to other non-mopping robot vacuums.


The Combo J7+ isn't equipped with the additional smart mopping features that we have in our top pick, but it still does an impressive job of cleaning. It comes with a highly efficient brush roll that is effective on both hard floors and carpeted rooms.
It's able to effortlessly slide between rugs and furniture, even on steep staircases. It has a powerful suction that we found impressive, although it is not as strong as the Roomba's 694 from iRobot.

What is what sets the Combo J7+ apart from other robot vacuums is the mopping feature that utilizes a small rotating brush to scrub the floor. SmartScrub is what iRobot refers to and is akin to the way mops scrub floors. The iRobot App allows you to enable it on a per-room basis.


Like other iRobot robots, the J7 Plus is easy to set up and use. It is also simple to maintain. The water tank and the dust bin are both removable, which means they're easy to clean. The iRobot App lets you watch instructional videos that demonstrate how to maintain the different components of the machine.
For example replacing the mopping pad, or filtering the water tank.

The only drawback is that the iRobot Combo J7+ only mops if it has a mopping pad attached and its 210 ml water tank is full. If one of these is missing, it just vacuums. You can easily monitor the water tank via the iRobot app, and when it is empty, you'll get an alert to refill it.


2. Roborock Q Revo

The Q Revo is a reliable budget-friendly machine that is great for mopping and vacuuming. Its mopping performance is particularly impressive, particularly considering its cost. It is effective on carpets and hard floors, picking smaller to larger pieces of debris (think hair tangles or kitty litter).
It also does a great job of cleaning up dry spills and messes. It is also great for cleaning stairs and places that can easily become stuck.

The mopping system makes use of rotating pads to clean your floors and eliminate dirt and grime, even from sunk-in areas. The pad is then thoroughly dried by 45 minutes of warm air after every cleaning to prevent the growth of the growth of mold and unpleasant odors.
You can easily control the bagless self-emptying robot vacuum via the Roborock application or make use of your voice to get your mopping going, change settings, and more.

Its performance in vacuuming is top-quality, too. It has an efficient vacuum and a high-efficiency filter which is able to capture all types of debris, from small to large. The only drawback is that it doesn't work as well against pet hair on carpet. After two cleaning sessions at maximum power, 10 percent of pet hair remained on the test surface.
This isn't unheard of.

The Q Revo has a lot going for it, from its excellent cleaning and mopping to its amazing navigation and obstacles avoidance. It's not as good as the more expensive robotic vacuum cleaner and mop but it is still an excellent option for anyone with a limited budget.

3. Yeedi Cube

The Yeedi Cube is a vacuum / mop robot that works well and comes with excellent features at a affordable cost. The set-up was simple and took just five minutes. After removing the tape for manufacturing and protective plastic scanning the QR code in the app will get you started.

The app is simple and walks you through the process in a simple manner. Once it is set up, the Cube is now ready to begin mapping and cleaning.

The app allows you to modify your home's layout and design maps that the robot will follow. The app can also divide rooms into smaller sections to better target your specific needs. You can create a map of the kitchen, and another one for the living room.
The robot will sweep the floors at different times in each room.

The Yeedi Cube is unique compared to other robots I've tested. It is an industrial design. Its base station is more modular than others and has the water-draining tank and auto-empty feature on one side and the vacuum on the other. The mop pad that is reusable is also separate, slotting into the top of the robot, and attached to a handle on the front to make it easy to remove and refilling.



The vacuum is as efficient as any other robot I've tested and comes with two side brushes to the single brush in the majority of models. This improves the coverage of the vacuum and makes it less likely to drop debris from furniture and walls. However, it does have some issues with the detection of objects and a tendency to run full speed into objects, such as a tassel rug in my office.


4. iRobot Braava Jet m6

The iRobot Braava Jet m6 is a powerful robot mop that does its job well and keeps your hard floors looking great every day. It isn't able to do the vacuuming tasks of other hybrids listed here and isn't able to transition to carpets or rugs as they do, however it comes with an extended battery life and smart mopping features.
It is a good option for keeping your floors clean in a smaller to mid-sized home.

It works in dry sweeping mode, too it can clean up to 1,000 square feet at a single charge. It can also draw your floor plan using the iRobot App and clean your rooms in a series with compatible Roomba Vacuums.

In wet mopping, the m6 employs precision sprays to dampen the floors in straight lines.
It was fascinating to watch and it was able to remove even the most stubborn dried-in coffee and juice staining my floors. It can be set to use less or more water than the maximum amount of water specified in the app.

The iRobot App is one of the most user-friendly applications on the market. It allows you to connect to your home WiFi. It's loaded with user-friendly functions such as scheduling, room partitioning and creating zones that don't allow you complete control over the machine.
It also lets you determine the remaining battery power to give you an accurate estimate of how long it's left before having to be docked and recharged. The m6 can be purchased at My Robot Centre for PS499 in the UK, at the iRobot Store in the US for just $399 and on Amazon (where the m6 is currently on sale).
It comes in white and graphite.

5. Shark RV2610WA

The price of vacuum and mop robotic cleaners is an problem. They are convenient, but they can also be expensive. The Shark AI Ultra 2-in-1 Robot Vacuum and Mop with XL HEPA self-empty robot vacuum base, which we reviewed here is priced at $699 or PS559 or $1054.
If you don't need the charging base, it'll cost $549 / PS395 / roughly $675.

The Shark RV2610WA is a great option for anyone who needs an omni-functional robot that can tackle both vacuuming and mopping. It uses sonic mopping to scrub your floors 100 times per minute, and is capable of deep cleaning stubborn stains using its stain-lifting system.

The app lets you set up the machine to clean at a certain time and date. It also has a smart feature which allows you to control your robot even when you are away.

The Shark vacuum cleaner is good at vacuuming and can pick up most debris. However, it is not as effective on carpets. It's easy to get pet hair caught up in the brushroll, and the dirt compartment can get stuffed fairly quickly. It also has a variety of components that require regular maintenance and replacement, which could increase the cost over time.


For the money There are better options available. The iRobot Combo J7 Plus, for example, offers much superior performance on bare floors and high-pile carpets. It's built better and has a bigger dust bin, and can maneuver over obstacles like electrical cords with ease.
The iRobot cleaner is more expensive but worth it if you want an all-purpose vacuum that can do both tasks with ease.
